Soaps, washing and drying of breasts during breastfeeding can cause the delicate skin to dry out. Breastfeeding means that your nipples are regularly getting wet and dry, which can exacerbate this drying out.
Massaging a little BIO-FEM Moisturising Balm every day, 2 – 3 weeks prior to birth helps to prepare your nipples for breastfeeding. Apply a little after each feed to help keep the skin soft and moist, to help prevent soreness and cracking.
